El próximo seminario web del Institute of Global Homelessness (IGH) reunirá perspectivas internacionales y regionales sobre la prevención y abordaje de la situación de calle entre jóvenes. En un diálogo, Dr. Peter Mackie conversará con Dr. Jayne Malenfant sobre elementos claves de juventudes en situación de calle en contextos internacionales, destacando la importancia de prevenir el sinhogarismo antes de que se produzca. Desde una visión regional, investigadores de Moviliza Chile presentarán los resultados de un reciente estudio sobre la salud y el bienestar de los adolescentes y jóvenes en situación de calle en América Latina.
Las y los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de interactuar con los expositores, hacer preguntas y explorar cómo estas perspectivas pueden contribuir a las políticas y las prácticas en diferentes contextos.

Registration Open! International Journal on Homelessness (IJOH) Conference 2027
Registration to attend the International Journal on Homelessness Conference 2027 is now open! The conference will be held on January 26-29, 2027, at the University of Pretoria Hatfield Campus, in Pretoria, City of Tshwane, South Africa, in partnership with the Ruff Institute of Global Homelessness (IGH) and the Center for Faith & Community at the University of Pretoria. The conference is inclusive of all knowledge and disciplines related to preventing and ending homelessness, featuring keynote speakers, panels, presentations, discussion forums, and optional site visits to local organizations.
