2026 Global Cities Forum on Homelessness

Join us on November 10 for the 2026 Global Cities Forum on Homelessness! The Institute of Global Homelessness (IGH) will host this virtual forum to bring together city and national insights from around the world, exchange solutions, and accelerate action to prevent and end homelessness.

The Global Cities Forum on Homelessness brings together city leaders, policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and people with lived experience from around the world to share knowledge, exchange solutions, and accelerate action to prevent and end homelessness. Featuring sessions on preventing homelessness before it starts, building housing solutions that work, creating effective national and city frameworks, and harnessing the power of data, this virtual Forum will explore how cities are transforming responses to homelessness and creating systems where everyone has a place to call home.

Registration Open! International Journal on Homelessness (IJOH) Conference 2027

Registration to attend the International Journal on Homelessness Conference 2027 is now open! The conference will be held on January 26-29, 2027, at the University of Pretoria Hatfield Campus, in Pretoria, City of Tshwane, South Africa, in partnership with the Ruff Institute of Global Homelessness (IGH) and the Center for Faith & Community at the University of Pretoria. The conference is inclusive of all knowledge and disciplines related to preventing and ending homelessness, featuring keynote speakers, panels, presentations, discussion forums, and optional site visits to local organizations.
