This panel brings together homelessness experts to explore how did their work has helped make the invisible, visible in data, and why this matters for ending homelessness. The session will examine how  we ensure the right balance between the need for granular data on marginalized groups and ensuring their privacy and anonymity, building marginalized peoples’ trust in data systems and involvement of those same peoples in the collection process, forging more open collaboration across different types of actors to ensure available data on marginalized people is used to inform decisions, and ensuring that data from citizens and civil society is used by governments in policy and decision-making.
